Deploy DISC Assessments — Internal Pilot and Client Rollout

Complex ·ClickUp: scoping ·Open in ClickUp ↗ ·Updated 2026-09-17
What this task isSet up DISC Profile App for two tracks: an internal pilot with the Top Rep team (15 people, free month) to build working-style profiles, and a client-facing rollout across SSS, VSM, Flight School Elite, and 1-1 coaching programs. Requires vendor onboarding, internal pilot execution, and a rollout plan for each client program before any assessments go live.
The Request

Evaluate and deploy DISC assessments in two tracks: internally for the Top Rep team, and as a client-facing deliverable across our coaching programs. Why this project exists Internal: We are a fully remote team with no shared documentation on how each person works, communicates, or prefers to receive feedback. DISC gives us a common vocabulary for working style differences and feeds the Team Database working-style profiles.

Client-facing: Chuck is already planning to send assessments to Success Squadron members, and PROPEL (WHY.os / WHO.os / WHAT.os) is part of our offering via the WHY Institute partnership. We need DISC as a diagnostic layer we can administer to client teams across SSS, VSM, Flight School Elite, and 1-1 coaching. Running it internally first means we know the platform and the participant experience before we charge anyone for it. Vendor: DISC Profile App Founder is Jon Morrison (Abbotsford, BC). Platform at https://www.discprofile.app

What he offered: Free month of Team Mode for our 15 people, all assessments complimentary Coach Mode supports multiple client companies under one account, each with its own teams, email invites, team view, and per-person reports Design partner position on their API build, with pricing that reflects our contribution

Known limitations as of 9/16/2026: No public API or webhook today. This is the gap that matters for client deployment at scale and for surfacing results in our own app. White-label is partial. Team presentation decks can run unbranded, but assessment links and emails still carry discprofile.app. The 30-question instrument has not completed independent psychometric validation or population norming. Their own methodology page states results should be treated as a working hypothesis, not a diagnosis, performance score, or hiring filter. This is a material consideration before we put it in front of paying clients. Alternatives considered Provider Cost Note DISC Profile App $99/mo Team Mode, Coach Partner TBD Free trial secured, design partner on API Everything DiSC (Wiley) ~$90/profile Gold standard, validated, name recognition with clients, no self-serve API DISC Assess $299 for 15 Cheapest, thin reports JobCannon $199/mo Scale tier Has a real DISC API for coaching platforms, white-label, revenue share available. Fallback integration path if Jon's API slips.Current status 4 of 15 team members have completed the assessment. Early composition: 2 C, 1 I, 1 S, no D. AI Team Analysis generated 9/15 but the Regenerate function is erroring, reported to Jon.

Related work already done: DISC Type, WHY.os Result, Time Zone, Working Hours, and Preferred Contact Method fields added to the Team Database, plus the Team Profile Intake form for working-style data.

Decided at the 9/15 L10 See .

Ownership split, DISC and WHY are not competing: Jet and Brian Simpson pilot the new DISC platform and evaluate pricing / API for Triple S implementation Chuck coordinates WHY (Propel) access with Reggie and plans the assessment rollout for leaders and sales reps

Positioning: the team agreed real value comes from assessing sales reps as well as leaders. WHY.os has been the leadership-level instrument through PROPEL; DISC is what scales down to rep level inside Triple S.

Cost benchmarks from that discussion: Brian noted standard DISC facilitator access would have run close to $5,000. He already has materials to run on-site sessions from prior experience. WHY assessments referenced at roughly $20 each Jon's pricing details expected Thursday

Plan of record: integrate DISC within Triple S, and potentially the companion app in a later phase. Evaluate who gets access and training. Related: Bench AI Chuck is contracting Nathan Tebido and bringing in Bench, an AI platform that ingests client CRM and QuickBooks data, guides coaching sessions, summarizes, assigns homework, and tracks progress. Requires a dedicated server. Being piloted through Triple S with a view to broader coaching use.

If DISC results need to live anywhere client-facing, Bench is likely the system they have to talk to, not only our own companion app. Raise this with Paul before the vendor call so the API scope accounts for it.
